The Association of Residence Halls (ARH) Programming Board approached me to rework their [previously nonexistent] identity. It was important to them that the logo be simple enough to reproduce in multiple media but fun and recognizable. After all, the Programming Board was responsible for bringing new and exciting programs to campus.

The ARH is made up of representatives from 13 residence halls, so a 13-pointed starburst was an appropriate choice.
