From the outset, it was clear that Natalie and Carson Muth were passionate about their profession. The two chiropractors were in the midst of opening their own practice when they approached me. They had some rough ideas in mind, and we were able to work together to create a successful identity and website.
Logo
The logo began as a series of sketches. Because Natalie and Carson wanted their branding to reflect the local geography and culture, I incorporated various elements such as rolling plains and wheat stalks.
I presented the couple with several differing options to begin with. From there, I took Natalie and Carson’s feedback and revised the logo. They wanted something that was clean and simple, but not boring.
We decided on a gentle curve to represent the natural curve of the human spine as well as the surrounding rolling hills. A complex texture filled the interior of the curve to reinforce the natural approach of chiropractic medicine.
Stationery
Website
After creating the logo and stationery for Plains Chiropractic, our attention moved to the website. Taking visual cues from the existing pieces, I designed and coded a custom WordPress theme for Natalie and Carson.
The WordPress platform allows them to easily update their site whenever it’s necessary, without needing to involve me.
